The June meeting of the Bowling Green Women’s Club Garden Group met at the home of Fern Kao. 
The speaker for the evening was Anne Limes who is a master gardener. Her presentation covered: local
plants; forms that farmers have to complete before spraying; types of weed killers that can be used;
various other helpful gardening information. 
The meeting was called to order by co-president Jo Sipes. Roll call was answered by each member 
sharing a sample of her favorite flower. 
Committee reports were given by Linda Kuhn on recycling, Jo Vernon on birds; and Marilyn Pahl on
horticulture. 
Kuhn reported on the OAGC Convention held in June at Maumee Bay State Park.  Kuhn, Linda Hamilton,
Lynette Rosebrook and Evelyn Bachman attended the convention from the club. 
The club members signed up to help with the Wood County Fair Flower Show.  
The next meeting will be held on July 21 at 7p.m. at the Wood Lane Farm Greenhouse.
Sipes and Bachman will be the hostess.
