Kaleb Swartz, 9 years of age, a boy full of life and dreams, of Milton Center and formerly of Oregon,
Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015.
Kaleb was born in Findlay, Ohio to Katey (Torres) Swartz, and she survives him in Milton Center, Ohio.

Kaleb was a third-grade honor roll student at Coy Elementary in Oregon, Ohio. He was a typical boy who
enjoyed playing outside, riding his bike, skateboarding, playing baseball, and running. Kaleb was an
avid 49’s football fan.
Kaleb was a boy full of dreams who talked about being a scientist, a firefighter or possibly a doctor. He
had a smile that would light up the whole world.
Along with his mother Katey, Kaleb is survived by his siblings: Joshua, Sarah, Lexy, Isiah; grandfather:
Lawrence Torres; aunts and uncles: Debra (Scott Vestal) Plath, Ben Torres; great-aunts and great-uncles:
David, and Charles (Bobbi) Ankney; Phyllis (Roger) Ireland, Felix Torres, Teresa (Roth) Ireland, Linda
Cortez; a host of loving cousins; special grandparents; Dan and Laurie Magrum; special family friend;
Nicholas Magrum and his four-legged companion Charlie.
Kaleb was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Jane Torres and his uncle Alberto Torres.
Visitation for Kaleb will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 3 – 8 p.m. in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral

419-352-2171. A Celebration of Kaleb’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the
Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory Remembrance Chapel. Interment will follow in the St.
Louis Catholic Cemetery.
