Rugby Ohio will be hosting a free one day event on June 27 at City Park on the Eli Joyce Ball Diamond
from 1-3:30PM.
Activities will consist of learning skill drills and games that will teach participants about the game of
rugby and simulate the preparation needed to make it to the Olympics. The event is for children in
grades K through high school and will include speed and agility training as well as variations of rugby
games (including scrimmages). There will also be a station for kids’ grade k-5 that can design their own
USA Olympic rugby jersey. The top 3 rugby jersey designs will win a rugby ball. No experience is
necessary and all skill levels are welcome to participate and learn more about rugby. No
pre-registration needed.
