Friendly Town & Country
The June meeting of the Friendly Town & Country Garden Club, Haskins, was held as an annual
picnic at the home of Amy Nelson (Cathlene Nelson) on Tuesday .
In attendance, in addition to the Nelsons, at the annual picnic were: Dorothy Cromley, Karen Dauer, Diane
Gutherie, Danilda Lee, Marge Richendollar, Jean Thornton and Patsy Vogelsong. The Nelsons served a
summer lunch and the other members each contributed additional dishes.
After touring the gardens, members held the monthly meeting along with a white elephant sale. Cromley
brought along some perennials to share.
Discussion was held concerning next months meeting and pre-planning on fair obligations.
