This year’s More Light Sunday is this Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green.  
Information from the church reads, "We use this Sunday to reflect on the past year and lean toward
our future together to create a more robust welcome for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender,
questioning) persons within the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Church officials say they have seen an overwhelming reality of abundance this year in the ratification
campaign of 14F, the ways that marriage equality continues to grow across the nation including the
ongoing work for intersectional justice.  
The announcement from the national office to the local churches provided suggested scriptural texts and
songs to be used, noting, "Our hope is that your congregation will see these as a resource for
celebrating the great achievements within the PC (USA) and our work together as faithful More Light
Presbyterians."
The public is invited to attend the 10 a.m. Sunday worship.
