Make Valentine’s Day reservations now for an exclusive after-hours evening, Valentine Wine &
Dine, at the Toledo Zoo on Feb. 14, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Guests will be served a chef-designed meal in the zoo’s Arctic Encounter, as polar bears and seals swim
all around. The full-service meal includes appetizers, entrees and desserts. Gourmet paired wines
enhance the experience in a venue that is like nothing else around.
Live music enhances the evening, and artist Brenda Clixby is adding a fun twist. Throughout the evening,
she’ll create a painting that will be auctioned off at 9 p.m., with proceeds supporting animal
conservation.
There is a limit to the space available. Reserve a spot by calling the zoo at 419-385-5721, extension
6001, by 3 p.m. on Feb. 12. Online reservations are also available at toledozoo.org/wine.
Guests must be 21 or over to attend the Valentine Wine & Dine, and reservations are required.
Tickets must be purchased in advance; they start at $80 for zoo members and $85 for non-members.
