Frostbite run set for Feb. 14
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation will present the 7th Annual Frostbite One Mile Fun Run on Feb. 14.
The run, part of Winterfest, will be held at 11 a.m. around City Park. The event is sponsored by Biggby
Coffee.
Awards will be given out to overall male/female adult and youth categories and all preregistered
participants will receive a long-sleeved t-shirt.
The cost is $18 (with a t-shirt) for those registered by Feb. 5.
After that date, registration or $28 (with shirt available) and $15 (with no shirt).

Ag theme continues for Kiwanis
The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will continue its January agriculture theme at noon this Thursday at Stone
Ridge Golf Club.
Abby Wensink, a conservationist with the Wood County Soil & Water Conservation District, and Wood
County Commissioner Jim Carter will present the program.
Brown Bag Music Series starts Friday
The 9th annual Brown Bag Music Series will kick off Friday at the Simpson Building.
The series is presented by the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department and the College of Musical
Arts at Bowling Green State University.
The events will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the site, located at 1291 Conneaut Ave.
Attendees are invited to bring their lunch and listen to a musical performance by students and faculty
from the College of Musical Arts.
Drinks and dessert will be available for purchase.
The first performance in the series will be a Musical Theatre Extravaganza.
