Carpenter was likely to make his season debut Friday night for the Bowling Green Falcon hockey team.But the
junior center — who hasn’t played in a game this season because of a broken finger — was injured again
during practice Wednesday.Carpenter is out indefinitely with a broken foot suffered when he was hit by a
shot, BG coach Chris Bergeron said.The injury is not scheduled to require surgery.Carpenter broke his finger
during BG’s exhibition Oct. 5 and was on track to play Friday night at Ferris State.Carpenter led BG last
season with 18 goals and 33 points. He’s one of the top players in the Western Collegiate Hockey
Association.
