Kiwanis learn of Arab SpringA professor at Bowling Green University will give the Bowling
Green Kiwanis Club his perspective on the Arab Spring revolutions and the prospects for peace in the
Middle East at this Thursday’s meeting at Stone Ridge Golf Club.Marc Simon, an associate professor and
the acting chairman of the BGSU political science department, sees the Middle East in a transition
period with budding Democracies in several countries where revolutionaries have overthrown long-standing

Wood County Sheriff’s Office was informed of the break-in just after 1:15 p.m., and reported it had

stuck elevator at a residence hall at Bowling Green State University Tuesday.This is the fifth such
incident to occur on campus since Dec. 31.The Bowling Green Fire Division was called to the Centennial
Hall residence hall, 1101 E. Wooster St., at 7:20 p.m. on the report of a stuck elevator between the
first and second floors.All were rescued without incident and fire personnel returned to service at 7:32
