Tontogany tree event Saturday
The Village of Tontogany will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Saturday at 7 p.m.
Children are encouraged to bring an ornament to decorate the tree.
Canned food items will also be accepted to donate to the Otsego Food Pantry.
BG food day set for Friday
First United Methodist Church in Bowling Green, 1526 E. Wooster St., will offer its government food
distribution and Senior Food Box on Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Karaoke night Saturday at VFW
VFW Post 1148, 719 S. Main St., will have karaoke night Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Santa at Luckey event Dec. 12
LUCKEY – Santa will be visiting children at the Luckey American Legion on Dec. 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Each child will receive a gift. Cookies and refreshments will be served. This event is sponsored by Troy
Township Fire Department, Troyettes, Luckey Kiwanis, Troy-Webster American Legion and Auxiliary.
Pemberville seeks library trustee
PEMBERVILLE – Pemberville Library has a trustees position open for the term 2012-2019.
Any Eastwood school district resident willing to serve should send a letter of interest to the taxing
authority, Eastwood Board of Education, by Dec. 9.

Baked steak Sun. at Bradner
BRADNER – Bradner American Legion will hold a baked steak dinner Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the
post home.
The meal includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, roll and dessert. The cost is $6 for adults and
$3 for children under 10.
