Friday food day for BG programs
The monthly Bowling Green food distribution and Senior Food Box will be held Friday.
Hours are 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1526 E. Wooster St.
Board meets in Rossford
ROSSFORD – The Rossford Board of Education will hold a special meeting today at 6:30 in the board room at
Bulldog Center. The agenda includes employment and busing on "tree streets."
The next regular meeting will be July 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
Rt. 163 closed for repairs
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces that effective immediately though
Thursday, daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Ohio 163 is closed at the intersection of Rocky Road and Genoa
Road, near Stony Ridge, for pavement repair.
Local access will be maintained. The suggested detour is U.S. 20 and Ohio 420. All work is weather
permitting.
Bloom Township moves meeting
The next meeting for the Bloom Township Trustees is being changed to Tuesday at 8 p.m. due to the Fourth
of July holiday.
BGHS cheer squad holds online auction
The Bowling Green High School varsity cheerleading squad is raising funds for cheer camp through an
online auction of local items.
Visit www.alltimebid.com through July 6 to bid on items including gift certificates for local golf and
restaurants.

Holiday impacts city services
PERRYSBURG – All city offices will be closed Monday in observance of the July 4 holiday.
All refuse, recycling and yard waste routes will be delayed by one day.
