REYNOLDSBURG – Ohio Department of Agriculture Director James Zehringer has appointed Janelle Teeters Mead
chief of its Markets Division.
In this capacity, she will oversee the department’s efforts to help Ohio agribusinesses market their
products, provide Ohio’s Specialty Crop Block Grant payments to Ohio producers, and administer the
department’s "Ag is Cool!" educational program for young Ohioans. She adds these new duties to
her role as agribusiness liaison for the ODA.
