Citations May 9:
Expired registration – Patricia Schmenk, Bowling Green; Joshua Ebert, Bowling Green.
A 16-year-old was arrested at Bowling Green High School for theft of drugs. The girl reportedly took
pills into the school.
Wesley M. Gatling, Toledo, was arrested downtown on a warrant through the sheriff’s office for dangerous
drugs. He was taken to jail. Police were called after Gatling reportedly reached into a vehicle to punch
a man he blamed for the drug charges.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of a 20-year-old Toledo man for domestic violence.
Accident occurred:
May 9
¥ at the intersection of South Main Street and West Gypsy Lane Road. Evelyn C. Brown, Bloomdale, was
cited for failure to yield right of way/intersection. The second vehicle was operated by Brenda K.
Nelson, Portage.
A May 10 search warrant at an apartment in the 200 block of Napoleon Road resulted in Kevin D. Coleman,
20, BG, being arrested on three counts of trafficking in drugs, and for tampering with evidence. Eric I.
Robinson, 20, same address, also was arrested for trafficking in drugs. They were taken to jail Coleman
reportedly sold marijuana three separate times to an informant working for the police division. When
officers arrived with a search warrant, Coleman ran upstairs and began flushing evidence down the
toilet. Robinson was found in possession of 115.7 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and cash, and he
admitted to selling the drug.
Roy S. Naugle Jr., 35, BG, was arrested May 10 on Kramer Lane for disorderly conduct and possession of
marijuana. He was taken to jail.
