Northwood sets dates for kindergarten registration
Body: NORTHWOOD – Northwood Local Schools will hold kindergarten registration for the 2011-12 school year
on April 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olney Elementary School.
Children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30 and are residents of Northwood are eligible to
attend kindergarten. The child’s birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency and proof
of custody (when appropriate) are needed to register.
At the April 20 meeting, there will be an opportunity to meet and have your questions answered by the
building principal, kindergarten teachers, transportation personnel and the school nurse.
Participants will also learn about the kindergarten curriculum and receive some fun activities to help
children prepare for school next year. Kindergarten registration packets are available by at Lark
