Laureate Gamma Sigma
TONTOGANY – Six chapter members met Nov. 2 at the home of Barbara Heiman.
Sandi Woodbury showed Avon products for the group’s fundraiser.
President Joyce Asmus read a friendship poem. A thank you was read from the Otsego Food Pantry.
The chapter’s Christmas dinner will be held at Doc’s in Tontogany on Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. Members and
spouses will then go to the Asmus home for dessert, a gift exchange and program. Members will bring two
gifts for a game to be played at the gatheriing. Spouses will do the same.
Jackie Shank announced a breakfast at Zion Lutheran Church, Waterville, on Dec. 5 from 8 to 11 a.m. Cost
is $5.
Members assembled 24 quart jars of cookie mix for the Otsego Food Pantry.
The hostess served chicken salad.
Four Seasons Garden Club
PEMBERVILLE – President Shannon Wright opened the Nov. 2 meeting at the Union Bank with 18 members
answering roll call naming their favorite Thanksgiving food.
Newest member Kathy Frederick was welcomed.
Eileen Schuerman and Jane Kohlenberg provided refreshments. Kohlenberg audited the treasurer book for
08-09 year, found to be in good order. Just a handful of members still owe $12 membership dues.
The club has a few of its "Cooking with Four Seasons" cookbooks still available for $6 for
spiral bound or donation for stapled version, payable to Kohlenberg. All proceeds benefit the 2010
Flower Show.
Alicia Keller won the perennial sale basket raffle. Ellen Walston was thanked for organizing the new
location for the sale this year. Members provided a generous selection of bulbs, seeds, perennials,
annuals, Osage oranges, bittersweet, and samples from the club cookbook.

Seeking a volunteer for the flower show chairperson position was addressed. The Calf Club will be
building a new building this year and will allow Four Seasons to use their facility for flower show
registration/entry.
The Dec. 7 Christmas potluck will be held at the Walston homestead at 6 p.m. Bring a secret seed gift for
the tree, and a dish to share. Seed exchange information, contact Nancy Fahle. Ways and Means Committee:
Trina Karns, Kristen Meyer and Barb Meyer have the sign up sheet for the potluck. The Entertainment
Committee is Deb Krukemyer, Kohlenberg, and Keller.
Renee Wendt led all in creating bookmarks.
