P. Mark Hamman, 66, of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in
Toledo.
He was born in Findlay, Ohio on April 29, 1943 to Rex and Grace (Franklin) Hamman. He married Margaret
"Peggy" Kline on August 18, 1976, and she survives.
Also surviving are sons: David Hamman of Rudolph, Jason (Nikki) Hamman of Cygnet, Jeff (Jordon) Hamman of
Portland, Or., David Senn and Danny (Julie) Senn of Bowling Green and Deane Senn of Litchfield Park,
Az.; daughters: Dawn Hamman of Portage and Debbie Senn Santos of Rudolph; sisters: Carol Northrup of Oak
Harbor and Betty Jo Hinton of Findlay; and grandchildren: Charity Haylett, Taylor, Caden, Murphy and
Fletcher Hamman, Zack Doane, Cole and Dustin Santos and Samantha, Tanner, Connor, Olivia and Julian
Senn.
Mark was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. He was also active in Habitat for Humanity, the Wood
County Historical Society and "Barn Bums." He was also active in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church’s
furniture ministry.
Mark was a proud husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed wood-working, fishing, and spending time
with his children and grandchildren. He began his career at Mid Am Bank as a custodian and worked his
way up to become a Vice-President, retiring after 40 years in 2002 from Sky Bank.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 315 S.
College Dr. Rev. Darrell Cousino will officiate. Visitation will be on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Habitat for Humanity, the American
Cancer Society, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Wood County Historical Society.
