Freedom Twp. changes meeting
PEMBERVILLE – Freedom Township Trustees have changed their meeting scheduled from Monday to Nov. 30 at
7:30 p.m. in the township hall.
City offices closed, trash pickup altered
The offices of the City of Bowling Green, including Municipal Court, will be closed Thursday and Friday
in observance of Thanksgiving.
Trash pickup will be Monday in District I, Tuesday in District II, and Wednesday in Districts III and IV.

I-75 traffic lanes reopen
All three lanes of traffic in both directions of Interstate 75, from Wales Road to Erie Street (Exit
201A), are now open, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Construction crews have removed all lane and ramp restrictions in this location. Work will resume in the
spring of 2010.
Chit-chats for children
Children ages 9 and up with an adult partner are encouraged to read the novel, "Granny Torrelli
Makes Soup," and discuss it over a bowl of warm soup at "Novel Chit-Chats" on Monday at 7
p.m. in the Children’s Place of the Wood County District Public Library.
Multiple copies of Newberry Medal winner Sharon Creech’s book are available for check out at the
Children’s Place desk.
Tax refunds go unclaimed
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown has announced that nearly 2,500 Ohioans have unclaimed tax refunds owed to them
by the IRS. Out-of-date addresses have caused these refunds to be returned by the U.S. Postal Service,
and more than 250 of these checks are waiting for Northwest Ohio taxpayers. That includes 21 from Wood
County.
Taxpayers who have not received tax refunds can visit the "Where’s My Refund?" page at
www.irs.gov or call to 1-800-829-1040 to check on their status. Brown’s Web site,
http://brown.senate.gov/, includes a link to the page and instructions on how Ohioans can claim tax
refunds.
