Friday bazaar at Peace Lutheran
A bazaar featuring handicrafts and gifts will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church,
1021 W. Wooster St.
Ten percent of the proceeds go to the Christmas Store at Peace, which allows 25 disadvantaged youngsters
to choose gifts for the holidays.
Flu clinic Monday in Fostoria
FOSTORIA – A seasonal flu vaccination clinic will be held at Fostoria Community Hospital Monday from 6 to
8 a.m.
The vaccines are for adults 18 years of age or older.
The cost of the flu vaccine will be $25. Pneumococcal pneumonia vaccines will also be available for a
cost of $35.
Medicare Part B covers both vaccines. A Medicare card and photo ID are required for those who utilize
Medicare.
The clinic will be held in the Conference Center, on the hospital’s lower level, entrance 2.

Mortgage values up in the county
Wood County Recorder Julie Baumgardner has reported 1,280 mortgages with a valuation of $7,756,805,562
were recorded in the third quarter, versus 1,203 mortgages with a valuation of $4,505,395,645 in the
same period last year.
She reported 947 deeds were recorded in the quarter, compared to 956 in the same period last year.
Numerous other documents were recorded for a total of 4,846 documents being recorded in the quarter,
versus 4,918 last year.
The recorder’s office paid $113,515 into the county’s general fund, compared to $98,735 last year.
FOX Toledo will broadcast parade
Bowling Green’s Holiday Parade will be broadcast on FOX Toledo on Thanksgiving Day from 9 to 11 a.m.
"Events like the Bowling Green Chamber Holiday Parade help reinforce holiday traditions and give
families a great opportunity to spend quality time together," said FOX Toledo General Manager Gary
Yoder.
"It is one of our favorite events to participate in throughout the year."
The parade will also be available for viewing on www.foxtoledo.com after it airs on FOX Toledo.
