opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the
separation."
Most Americans could not state where the above words are derived from, or who penned them, and sadly,
most do not care either. We seem to have become indifferent to our government leaders and the policies
they keep enacting.
I’ve heard people say, "It doesn’t affect me, so I really don’t pay much attention to what they are
doing."
It is affecting each one of us more than we understand. The back room politics and closed-door sessions
that occur at all levels of our government are steadily stealing your liberties and freedoms without
your consent or realization.
Ask yourself if you are concerned with what is happening in government. Not just in Washington, but in
your state, and local communities. Your taxes are going up and will continue to do so. Your dollar is
becoming worth less and less. Your savings accounts might not be as protected by the FDIC as you think.
Your health insurance is about to skyrocket in cost. Your friends and family members can’t find jobs.
Your neighbors are losing their homes. You can’t afford to send your kids to school. You can’t even
think about retirement right now.
I’ve been asked, "What can I do? I’m just one person." First and foremost, start educating
yourself on the issues. Don’t swallow what any of the news organizations are feeding us on the nightly
news. Do your own research. Read the Constitution and learn how this document is being trampled on
daily. Find out who your representatives are and how they are voting on issues. Go online and research
what principles this country was first founded on. Not the indoctrinating garbage the progressives are
teaching our children in school today, but the truth. Search for the truth. Learn what a precious gift
you have received in being able to call yourself an American!
We need to force our politicians to go back to honoring the Constitution and what this country stands
for. We need to dissolve the political chains of corruption that are destroying this country.
Think about this as you watch even more of your friends lose their jobs, houses, and retirement savings.
Think about this whenever you go to the polls to vote. Are the people you are electing going to stand up
for your petitions or for their own advancement? Think about it.
