BG-Michigan hockey tickets on sale
Tickets for Saturday’s Bowling Green-Michigan hockey game at Lucas County Arena are on sale.
Tickets can be purchases through www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
BG students may purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $6 with a valid student ID through the BG
athletic ticket office. Purchases can be made through noon Friday. Walk-up tickets will be available at
the Arena.
BG’s Van De Walle gets 500th win as head coach
TOLEDO -Bowling Green, seeded 11th for the Mid-American Conference tournament, knocked off Toledo, 26-24,
25-22, 20-25, 16-25, 15-12, in the first round of the tournament Tuesday. It was the 500th victory for
Falcon head coach Denise Van De Walle. She is 500-341 in 27 years at BG.
BG’s leaders were: Kaitlin Jackson, 11 kills, 17 digs; Emily Kauth, 11 kills, eight block assists; Corey
Domek, 20 kills; Allison Kearney, 46 assists, two aces, 17 digs; Shari Luther 11 kills; and Alex Zlabis,
31 digs.
Toledo was seeded No. 6.
The Falcons, 13-19, face No. 3 seed Miami Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Toledo’s SeaGate Centre.
BG-Marist to start at 1 p.m. Saturday
The Bowling Green women’s basketball team’s game at Marist College will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the
McCann Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The start time was announced by the WNIT on Tuesday afternoon.
Saturday’s game marks BGSU’s third and final contest in the Preseason WNIT.
Eastwood wrestling meet the team set
LUCKEY – Eastwood is holding its annual meet the team night for all levels of wrestling, from biddy
through high school on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
The event will be held in the auditorium with a tour of the wrestling building to follow.
District volleyball matches set
TONTOGANY – The District 7 senior all-star volleyball matches are Thursday at Otsego High School.
The Division III-IV matches on side-by-side courts start at 7 with the Division I-II matches to follow.

All-district awards will be given out before each division plays and this includes all honorees
regardless of graduation year.
All proceeds go to help fund four scholarships that are awarded each year.
