Legion hosts ‘feather party’
PERRYSBURG – Perrysburg American Legion Post No. 28 will hold its annual Feather Party on Saturday
starting a 7 p.m. at the Schaller Memorial Building, 130 W. Indiana Ave.
There will be bingo, door prizes and an opportunity to win a ham or turkey.
Fish fry in Grand Rapids
GRAND RAPIDS – Alva N. Sidle Post No. 232 American Legion will serve a fish fry on Friday from 5 to 7
p.m. The cost is $8 for all you care to eat.
The post is located at 12580 U.S. 24.
Turkey shoot set for Sunday
There will be a turkey shoot at 1 p.m. Sunday at 17419 Bays Road, between Potter and Wingston roads.
Coffee and sandwiches will be available.
Proceeds will go to the Liberty Township Civic Center.
We-By-For meets in BG Thursday
We-By-For will hold a public meeting Thursday evening in the Scout Building at Bowling Green City Park.
Robert Owens, who ran for Ohio attorney general in 2008, will be the featured speaker. The meeting will
begin at 6:30 and is expected to last for three hours.
We-By-For plans to focus the meetings in Northwest Ohio on a goal of educating the public about the
Constitution.

Meijer honored as employer
Community Employment Services of Wood Lane has named Meijer as its Employer of the Month for November.
The Bowling Green store has employed an individual for the past 10 years and recently hired another
individual to work as a greeter.
