TODAY
The Graduate String Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Toledo’s Wildwood Metropark Manor House.
Student Jazz Combos will perform at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall of Moore Musical Arts Center.
WEDNESDAY
Per Broman will speak on "Behind the Curtain: Ingmar Bergman’s Musical Conception in
‘Höstsonaten,’" and Elizabeth Menard will discuss "An Investigation of Creative Potential in
High School Musicians: Recognizing, Promoting, and Assessing Creative Ability through Music
Composition." as part of the Faculty Scholar Series at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall.
THURSDAY
Guest pianist Alan Feinberg will lead a master class at 2 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall.
Poet Jessica Stump and fiction writer Jacqueline Vogtman, graduate students in Creative Writing Program,
will read from their work at 7:30 p.m. in Prout Chapel.

FRIDAY
A Southern Graphics Council traveling exhibition opens with a 5 p.m. panel discussion with the artists in
204 Fine Arts Center, followed by a reception in the Willard Wankelman Gallery. The exhibition continues
through Dec. 13; the gallery will be closed Nov. 26-30 for Thanksgiving.
SATURDAY
The College of Musical Arts hosts Double Reed Day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Moore Musical Arts Center.
The event is open to bassoonists and oboists of all ages and abilities, and to music educators.

The A Cappella Choir and University Women’s Chorus will perform at 8 p.m. in Kobacker Hall of the Moore
Musical Arts Center. Tickets are $10 and $7 for students and senior citizens in advance, and $13 and
$10, on the day of the performance. Call (419) 372-8171.
SUNDAY
The Concert Band, directed by Carol Hayward, and University Band, directed by Kenneth Thompson, will
perform at 3 p.m. in Kobacker Hall.

The Graduate String Quartet will perform at 8 p.m. in Bryan Recital Hall.
AT THE GALLERIES
"The Poetic Dialogue," continues through Thursday in the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery.
"Art from Visiting the Margins," an exhibit of work inspired by Arts Village and social work
students to the Bronx in New York, continues through Dec. 6 in Bowen-Thompson Student Union Gallery.
