Joyce Hardenbrook

Joyce A. Hardenbrook, 80, of Wayne, and formerly of Holland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on
Nov. 15, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
She was born on Jan. 20, 1929 in Wayne, to the late John P. and Minnie M. (Hoadley) Woodruff. She married
Dalice "Lefty" who is deceased.
Surviving are her loving family, Gary (Patti), Vin (Jean), Karen (Larry), Joan, Linda, Beth (Tom);
granddaughter Rebeckah; 11 stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; and her loving pet dog
Buttons.
She was preceded by 10 siblings and a stepgrandson.
Joyce retired from the Lucas County Children’s Services.
She was a member of the Wayne United Methodist Church and the Ruth Circle, and Wayne Research Club.
She was a graduate of Montgomery Township High School, and was especially proud to have participated in
the 2009 Susan G. Komen 5K Race for the Cure.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at the Wayne United Methodist
Church with Reverend Mark Kuhlman officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at Barndt Funeral Home, 121 West
South Street, Wayne.
Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, American Cancer Society or the
Wayne United Methodist Church.
Joyce’s family would like to extend a heart-warming special thanks for the loving care that she and her
family received at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
