ESTERO, Fla. – Florida downed Toledo, 4-3 in a shootout Friday in ECHL action.
Toledo took a 2-1 lead into the third period on goals by Adam Hobson and Evan Rankin. Florida then scored
twice to take a 3-2 edge before Hobson scored with just under three minutes remaining in regulation to
tie the game. Hobson also assisted on Rankin’s goal.
In the shootout, Florida goaltender Barry Brus made the final save to secure the win.
Alec Richards finished with 23 saves for Toledo.
