The Ohio Society of CPAs installed Annette J. Rader, CPA, audit and tax staff of Radel Smith &
Associates, Bowling Green, and Daniel M. Spilman, CPA, ABV, CFF, managing principle and founder, Spilman
Hills & Heidebrink Ltd., as members of the executive board at the Members Summit &
Annual Meeting in Columbus.
Each was named to a two-year term.
Rader’s service to the Ohio Society includes the Education Services Advisory Council; Northwest Tax
Update Committee; Continuing Profes-sional Education Scheduling Committee; former Toledo Chapter,
committee chair; and Toledo CPE Day Planning Committee.
She is treasurer of St. John Lutheran Church and treasurer in charge of student trip funds for Patrick
Henry Parent Music Association.
Spilman is a member of the Ohio Society’s Council of Leaders and serves as a CPE instructor and course
author. He serves as a board member and treasurer of Partners in Education of Toledo.
