Dustin Reynolds on OSU basketball team
COLUMBUS – Dustin Reynolds, a graduate of Elmwood High School, is a member of the Ohio State University
basketball team after making the team during walk-on tryouts last month.
The 6-foot-6, 215-pound junior forward played one season at Hillsdale College and sat out last season
with an injured back.
He was a two-time Suburban Lakes League player of the year at Elmwood, earning second-team all-state
honors as a senior. He averaged 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists that season.
Falcon women to receive rings
Prior to Friday’s Bowling Green’s women’s basketball game with Chicago State, the Falcons will receive
their Mid-American Conference championships rings from last season. Also, a banner is going to be
unveiled to recognize the regular-season championship.
Tipoff is 7:30 p.m. in Anderson Arena.
BG rifle club loses
TIFFIN – The Bowling Green rifle team lost its first match of the season to Tiffin, 1,421-1,372.
Results for BG were: Jan Spohn, 287; Bob Schwiebert, 279; Norbert Norden, 271; Don Link, 269; and Richard
Dittman, 266. Jerry Milnor also fired for BG.
Otsego to present fall awards
TONTOGANY – Otsego High School has its fall athletic awards ceremony Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the high
school gym.
BG Blueliners set meeting
The annual Bowling Green Blueliners meeting is Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Bowling Green High School
cafeteria. A parents meeting will be held immediately after the Blueliners meeting.
