Otsego grad earns his American FFA degree

Lee Gobrogge, of McClure, received his American FFA Degree. The American FFA degree is the highest degree
bestowed onto FFA members.
He is attending University of Northwestern Ohio majoring in diesel mechanics. He is in his second year of
the program in Lima.
As an Otsego FFA member Gobrogge was very active in the program. He attended the COLT conference and both
state and national FFA Conventions. He was also very competitive in career development events in the
areas of soils, livestock evaluation, and dairy.
He participated in numerous chapter events such as parking cars at both the Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest
and the National Tractor Pulls. He assisted in various parade floats, the kiddie pedal pulls, Ag. Day,
and Farm Safety Day Camp.
Gobrogge’s supervised agricultural experience project consisted of working on his family’s grain farm and
raising beef cattle. He also sold firewood and completed various home improvement projects.
He is the son of Ed and Kathy Gobrogge.
