PERRYSBURG – The Webster High School class of 1943 met for lunch at Cafe Marie’s on Wednes-day, with six
of the original 15 members present.
They were Marcella Dahms Duncan, Doris Gross Kottke, Evelyn Gross Smith, Mabel Brinker Lemmerbrock,
Marion Layman and Merril Shaffer.
Three other classmates were unable to come due to health problems and living away from the area.
Also in attendance were Clark Duncan, Myron Kottke, Ray Smith, Marty Evans, Naomi Layman and Katherine
Shaffer.
Rev. Myron Kottke gave the table blessing.
Luncheon was followed by a brief business meeting at which the group discussed the possibility of
memorials if they should lose a member in the future.
Plans for a reunion were made for Nov. 3, 2010 at the same time and location.
