No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the
cost. Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute. A $2 suggested
donation is appreciated for lunches. Dinner is served at the Wood County Senior Center on Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and reservations are needed by 2 p.m. of that day. The

Mind Myth-Busters Event: Tuesday, November 17 from 1-3 p.m. Sponsored by Bridge Home Health and Hospice,
Sterling House of Bowling Green, and WCCOA. Discover the truth and facts about your memory and aging.
Also, gain valuable tips on ways to maintain/improve your memory. Take part in the National Memory
Screening booth by taking a FREE and confidential memory test sponsored by The National Alzheimer’s
Foundation. Receive valuable informational booklets from the Wood County District Public Library and the
Alzheimer’s Association, listen to informative speakers discuss cognitiveissues, participate in hands-on
memory enhancement games and have the opportunity to win FREE memory enhancing gifts. Registration

Holiday Parade Breakfast: Saturday, Nov. 21 at 8:30 a.m. Enjoy a pancake breakfast with sausage,
casserole, fruit salad and juice. The morning will include musical entertainment and the parade will
follow. The Chamber Holiday Parade showcases many area business through floats, cars, bands, and much
more. The breakfast is sponsored by Dunn Funeral Home. Advanced tickets required, and are available at

Memorial Tea: Lighting our Legacy Tree: Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. In honor of our deceased loved ones, friends,
and family members, we will be decorating a legacy tree at this holiday tea. We will have time to share
memories, enjoy tea, cookies and beautiful music by Tedd Swartz, guitarist and vocalist. Please bring an
ornament with your loved ones name on it to place on the tree. Your ornament will be returned to you
