Betty June and Norman Robert Garner, Bowling Green, are observing their 65th wedding anniversary this
weekend.
They were married Nov. 6, 1944 at the Wayne Methodist Church, while Garner was in the Army Air Corps.
They have been residents of Bowling Green for over 64 years.
Norman Garner was a meat-cutter for the A & P Co. for over 30 years. Betty Garner retired from
the Bowling Green State University Bookstore.
The couple have two children Jimmie R., Indianapolis, and Bonnie Metcalf, Waterville. They also have one
grandson, Todd.
They will celebrate by having a dinner at their daughter’s home.
