FOR PROPOSALS
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received until 11:00 a.m., on the 23rd day of
November, 2009, by the Board of County Commissioners of Wood County, Ohio, at its office in the Wood
County Office Building, Bowling Green, Ohio, and immediately opened thereafter.
Such Proposals as herein concerned shall be for the following as described: –
Professional consulting services for the analysis of the law enforcement public radio systems and
interoperability within Wood County, Ohio.
A bid bond or cashier’s check in the amount of $5,000.00 shall accompany each proposal submitted.
All proposals shall be sealed and plainly marked: “PROPOSAL – LAW ENFORCEMENT
COMMUNICATIONS/INTEROPERABILITY ANALYSIS”. All proposals shall be properly signed by an authorized
representative of the offerer.
The successful offerer will be required to sign an affidavit of contractor or supplier of non-delinquency
of personal property taxes in accordance with Section 5719.042, Revised Code of Ohio and an Affidavit
Regarding Child Support, pursuant to the Board of County Commissioners Resolution No. 92-2041.
In accordance with the Ohio Revised Code Section 2909.33, the successful bidder will be required to
certify that it does not provide material assistance to any organization on the United States department
of state terrorist exclusion list. The Terrorist Exclusion List may be found on the Ohio Homeland

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the City Administrator, 133 Osborn St., Rossford, Ohio 43460-1236, until
2:00 p.m. (local time) on November 20, 2009 for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials and
appurtenances necessary for the collection and disposal of residential solid waste, recycling materials
and seasonal yard waste within the corporate limits of the City of Rossford and at that time will be
publicly opened and read aloud.
The proposal forms and specifications are on file at the Office of the City Administrator, 133 Osborn
St., Rossford, OH, 43460-1236, and may be obtained during normal business hours.
Bid proposals are to be submitted on the forms within the specifications; they must be signed and
enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Administrator of the City of Rossford and marked
Residential Solid Waste Collection. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, bank
cashier’s check or letter of credit payable to the City of Rossford in the amount of five thousand
dollars ($5,000.00) as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder, he/she will, within
fifteen (15) days of the date of such award, enter into a proper and acceptable contract, otherwise,
said amount accompanying his/her bid will be forfeited to the City of Rossford, Ohio, as liquidation
damages.
Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory Bid
Bond or check, will neither be read nor considered.
The City of Rossford reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in any
bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
