Eastwood playoff tickets on sale
LUCKEY – Tickets for Eastwood’s game in the state high school football playoffs will go on sale today.
The Eagles play at Galion Saturday night at 7.
The tickets will be sold in the main office at the high school today until 3:30 p.m., Thursday from 8
a.m.-7:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Presale tickets are $7 and tickets at the gate are $9. Children age 5 and under will be admitted for
free.
Eastwood will receive a percentage of the sales from the presale tickets.
BG men plan open scrimmage
Bowling Green’s men’s basketball team is planning ‘Falcons at Work’ Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Admission is free.
The schedule is: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., practice. Copies of the practice plan will be distributed to offer
fans a behind-the-scenes look; 12:30-1 p.m., scrimmage; 1 p.m., team autograph session.
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to pick-up a 2009-10 BGSU men’s basketball schedule poster.

Schedule cards and ticket information will also be available.
Starting times for BGSU for Nov. 27
The starting time for Bowling Green football and women’s basketball on Nov. 27 has been set.
If the Bowling Green-Toledo football game is picked up by the ESPN family of networks, kickoff will be at
11a.m. If not, kickoff will be at 2p.m. An official announcement will be made approximately a week in
advance of the game.
Later that evening, BG’s women’s basketball hosts UNC-Greensboro. Tipoff has been set for 7 p.m. at
Anderson Arena.
Owens women’s basketball wins
The Owens Community College women’s basketball team opened the season with an 86-46 win over Mott CC
Tuesday.
Jasmine Blanton led Owens with 24 points while Brittany Darling had 20 points and 14 rebounds. Demi
Moschetti, from Perrysburg High School, added 13 points and eight rebounds in 18 minutes of action.
Owens volleyball in regional
The Owens Community College volleyball team looks to advance to a seventh national tournament as the
Express compete in the NJCAA Region XII tournament this weekend.
The tournament will be held at Grand Rapids (Mich.) Community College Friday-Sunday.
The Express is 30-18 overall. Other teams participating in the tournament include Columbus State
Community College (35-7), Mott Community College (14-29), Macomb Community College (31-6) and Oakland
Community College (32-11).
Lauren Lind, a Lake High School graduate, is a member of the Owens volleyball team.
Owens men to
open season on Thursday
The Owens Community College men’s basketball team opens its season on Nov. 5 with a home game against
Henry Ford College.
Tommy Kralovic, from Rossford High School, is a freshman with the Express this season.

Badenhop Challenge hits goal
The Burke Badenhop Challenge has reached its goal of 100 young alumni becoming Falcon Club members at
Bowling Green State University. Badenhop is a Perrysburg High School and BGSU graduate currently
pitching with the Florida Marlins.
As of Oct. 23, there were 112 young alumni contributing to the challenge, with over 25 percent of those
being former athletes.
Badenhop encouraged young alumni to make a $25 contribution to the Falcon Club and he would match the
amount.
Open curling planned
The Bowling Green Curling Club is holding opening curling on Tuesday through Dec. 8., except for
Thanksgiving week.
Open curling is 7 -9 p.m. and is $10 per person. Participants should bring clean tennis shoes and dress
comfortably for 40 degree temperatures.
Club members will be on hand to give basic instruction.
