Wood County residents interested in serving on the Wood County Park District Board of Commissioners have
until Nov. 18 to submit their applications.
The board recently decided to expand its size from three to five members.
By Ohio law, the probate judge is designated to appoint members to the board.
Persons interested in serving on the board should send a letter of interest and resume to Wood County
Probate Court Judge David E. Woessner, One Courthouse Square, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. The application
must be received by Woessner by Nov. 18
Other pertinent information may also be submitted with the letters of interest.
The terms for the newly-created positions, along with a current position up for reappointment, will begin
on Jan. 1. The terms will run for different lengths due to the recent expansion of members.
