I would like to take this opportunity to say a big "thank you" to all our generous friends in
BG for your donations Saturday for "Scouting For Food." You have never let us down in our time
of need and this was a great drive! We received almost 4.000 items. Our shelves were getting low and
this filled them up a lot.
I would especially like to thank Jean Whitson for heading this up and the many, many volunteers that made
the project go so smoothly. Also, thank you to George Nicholson for providing the workers with pizza.
That was so thoughtful. The scouts were a big help, too!
This is the time of year when we are all so busy, and to take the time to help those in need means so
much to us. If you want to help again, BGSU’s Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity will have a drive Saturday
(Oct. 31). These young men will pick up food around BG between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Any questions, please
