Assault at BGSU did not happen
Bowling Green State University Police have announced that a sexual assault that allegedly occurred on
Sept. 17 in McDonald Hall and was reported on Sept.19 did not happen.
The police say their investigation uncovered evidence that was contrary to the alleged victim’s account,
and she has since admitted that an assault did not occur.
Police said the university reports these incidents to help the university community remain vigilant and
take safety measures to prevent crime, and in compliance with the provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery
