Otsego choirs, band in concert
TONTOGANY — A fall music concert will be offered Tuesday in the Otsego High School auditorium. The
concert will start at 7 p.m. and feature the concert choir, men’s choir, women’s choir, chorale, swing
choir, woman’s octet and their a cappella vocal pop ensemble “Knightmusik.”
Also featured will be tenor Drew Ochoa, BGSU Music Education voice student; and the 2009 JAD Silver
Medalist Barbershop Quartet “Prestige” with members Gordie Howe, Drew Ochoa, Dave Parett and Nick
Gordan.
The Otsego Marching Band will finish the concert.
The choirs are under the direction of Janine Baughman and the band, Rich Dubler.
Eastwood band presents concert
PEMBERVILLE — The Eastwood Eagles Marching Band will present its annual Pops Concert on Tuesday at 7:30
p.m. in the high school gymnasium. This program will feature music from the 2009 marching season. The
concert is free and open to the public.
Penta offers GED
PERRYSBURG — Penta Career Center is offering free GED classes at numerous locations, including its site
in Perrysburg, and at the Wood County District Public Library and Bowling Green State University.

Builders Club collects DVDs
The Builders Club (Junior Kiwanis) at Bowling Green Middle School is collecting both new and used DVDs to
send to military troops. DVDs can be dropped off at the middle school office or given to any Kiwanis
member before Veteran’s Day in November.
