FOSTORIA — Bob Swiatek, a multi-published cookbook author from Buffalo, N.Y., will make an appearance
this Saturday at Fostoria’s Autumn Book Festival.
The festival, to be held in the gym of Fostoria High School at 1001 Park Ave., will run from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m.
The morning of the festival Swiatek will be making Irish soda bread from the first book he had published,
the “Read My Lips Cookbook: A Culinary Journey of Memorable Meals.”
The event, sponsored by local business, features appearances and book-signing by multiple authors.
“All my books have my sense of humor,” said Swiatek. “They’ve gotten great reviews and four of them were
finalists in 2007 – Indie Excellence and Foreword Magazine. The books are all under 200 pages.”
He admits to being a prolific writer. In 2008 alone he had six books published.
Reviews, excerpts, free recipes and a schedule of book signing gigs is available at his Web site, bobcooks.com.
