NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Village Administrator, 25 North Second Street, Village of Waterville,
Ohio 43566, until 2:00 p.m. (local time) on November 5, 2009 for the furnishing of all labor, materials,
tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer Lining – Phase
3 and at that time be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of 945 lineal feet of eight-inch sanitary liner, 1707 lineal feet of twelve-inch
sanitary liner, and 1208 lineal feet of fifteen-inch sanitary liner; restoration and sealing eight
manholes; removal of intruding service taps; replacing two service taps; removing a combination manhole,
replacement of catch basin; cleaning and televising sanitary sewers; maintaining traffic; restoration of
pavements and lawns; and associated work.
The Contract Documents including the construction plans, proposal form and specifications, are on file at
the office of Proudfoot Associates, 5360 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614, and may be obtained
during normal business hours upon non-refundable payment of $100.00. The Contract Documents will also be
on file in the Builders Exchange of Toledo, 5555 Airport Highway, Suite 140, Toledo, OH 43615.
Bids for the said project must be signed and enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Administrator
of the Village of Waterville and marked Sanitary Sewer Lining – Phase 3. Each bid must be accompanied by
a bid bond, certified check, bank cashier’s check or letter of credit payable to the Village of
Waterville in the amount of ten (10%) of the bid as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the
bidder, he will, within fifteen (15) days of the date of such award enter into a proper and acceptable
contract, otherwise, said amount accompanying his bid will be forfeited to the Village of Waterville,
