Jail sentences imposed for theft – at jail

Daryll Alexander, 27, one of six individuals charged with theft from the Wood County jail’s commissary
fund, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, 200 hours of community service and three years of community
control. He also must pay restitution in the amount of $6,811 "jointly and severally" with two
of the co-defendants in the case.
Alexander appeared before Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Alan Mayberry on Aug. 14. He pleaded
guilty to identify fraud and attempted engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, both third-degree
