Zumba – a new movement in the fitness world that is an energizing combination of Latin dance moves and
aerobic conditioning – and will be offered for the first time this fall at Bowling Green State
University through BGSU Continuing & Extended Education. Both Zumba and Zumba Gold (for the
older active adult) are available.
Also new this year are classes in jewelry making, plus half-day workshops in the mountain dulcimer,
ukulele or harmonica.
Also a Magic Close Up workshop will be offered.
The Saturday Art Program, for young people ages 3-19, begins Sept. 26.
Classes in gymnastics run from basic tumbling for preschoolers to more advanced skills for older
children.
Karate classes will be offered for children ages 3-14 and for adults.
Ballroom Dancing will also be taught.
