Arleta B. Hook, age 76, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at her residence.
On September 5, 1932 she was born in Haskins, OH to Andrew and Aurelia (Weimar) Snyder.
For 35 years she was a claims supervisor for the Ohio Employment Agency in Bowling Green, OH.
She was a lifelong member of Haskins Community Church, Haskins, OH and Pemberville American Legion
Auxiliary.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping and playing bingo.
Surviving Arleta are her son, David (Christine) Hook of Biddeford, ME; grandchildren, Joshua, Chelsea and
Abigail; a brother, Arlyn (Judy) Snyder of Bowling Green, OH; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Russell Snyder; and a sister, Auretia Scharf.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday August 20, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marsh
Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105 Pemberville, OH, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
on Friday, August 21, 2009. Officiating will be Rev. James Budke. Interment will be in Union Hill
Cemetery, Bowling Green, OH.
