It is with great sadness the family of Alma V. Reza announces her passing on August 9, 2009 after a
courageous battle with cancer.
Alma retired in 1981 from American Cyanamid in Perrysburg, OH.
She was a member of the BG Elks Club, BG Amvets, and BG FOE #2180. She taught Sunday school for several
years at the BG Church of the Nazarene.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, collecting recipes, and especially the time she shared with treasured
friends.
She will be remembered most by the immeasurable love she gave her children and grandchildren.
Alma was born on March 1, 1934 in Portage Township to the late Milton D.C. and Kathrine (Gray) Priest.
She married Julio Reza on January 22, 1955 in Indiana. They enjoyed 48 years of marriage. Julio passed
in August, 2002.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Robert Priest and Ronald Priest, and a sister, Wanda
Strausbaugh.
Alma is survived by her children, Vincent Reza, David and Carola (Luder) Reza, Julian (John) and Robin
(Rensch) Reza, and Patricia and Frankie Hernandez; her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Eric (Nicole)
Reza, Nicholas (Angela) Reza, John Reza, Ciara and Cheyenne Hernandez; her great-granddaughters Maci,
Adryana, and Mia Reza.
She was blessed to have spent the last five years of her life with her childhood sweetheart, Richard
Helberg. Also surviving is her sister, Beverly Coppler, her nieces and nephews, and many wonderful
friends.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Dunn
Funeral Home in Bowling Green, OH.
Funeral services will be held at Dunn Funeral Home on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. Pastor Scott
Estep officiating. Interment will follow at New Maplewood Cemetery in North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice of Findlay, Ohio.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the Bridge Hospice staff for the special care
they gave to Alma. It will always be remembered.
