Mud Hens win on Sunday

TOLEDO – Toledo hit three home runs in an 8-4 victory over Gwinnett Sunday in International League play.
The Mud Hens are 57-58 in the IL West.
Brent Clevan hit a three-run homer while Scott Sizemore and Dusty Ryan each hit two-run shots.
Toledo has hit at least one home run in each of the last 12 games.
Eddie Bonine allowed seven hits and two earned runs, striking out five and walking none in seven innings
to earn the win. Jeremy Bonderman, in Toledo on injury rehabilitation from the Detroit Tigers, allowed
six hits and two earned runs in 12â„3 innings.
On Saturday, Gwinnett scored four runs in the second inning and went on to defeat Toledo, 9-5 and end the
Mud Hens’ eight-game winning streak.
Nate Robertson, in Toledo on injury rehabilitation from the Detroit Tigers, allowed four hits and one
walk in 12â„3 innings. Only two of the five runs he allowed were earned.
Jeff Frazier and Mike Hessman each hit home runs for Toledo, Dane Sardinha hit a two-run double and Don
Kelly had three hits.
