Fair’s 2nd flower show continues world tour

The second flower show of the Wood County Fair opened to the public Friday evening, renewing the
spotlight on "International Flair."
The show features a total of 865 entries, including 781 specimens and 84 artistic arrangements.
Top award winners include the following:
¥ Blue-ribbon wall niche: "Austria’s Beautiful Crystal," using a crystal vase – Sue Facer,
Pemberville.
¥ Blue-ribbon folding niche: "Kenya Safari," interpretive – Angie Williams of Indiana.
¥ Blue-ribbon table design: "Japanese Tea Time," a tea setting for two or four people – Brenda
Schuerman, Pemberville.
¥ Best of show for artistic design – Pat Tyson, Wayne.
¥ Junior best of show – artistic design – Andrea Cromley.
¥ John Moore Creative Award – Angie Williams.
¥ Best of show indoor plant – Dorothy Cromley, Bowling Green.
¥ Junior best of show – specimen – Morgan Huff, Risingsun.
