BG Country Club holds youth golf tournament

The fourth annual Andy Open golf tournament was held Wednesday at the Bowling Green Country Club. The
tournament is sponsored by Andy Housholder and Ashel Bryan, both of Bowling Green. The tournament is
offered through Bowling Parks and Recreation and is for boys and girls ages 6-15.
Taking first place in the boys divisions were the following players: U-7, Eli Brown; U-9, Jack Hanus;
U-11, Alex Nobel; U-12, Trey Walker; and U-15, Zack Hiris.
Taking first in the girls’ divisions were: U-8, Macy Hanus; U-10, Charlee Carroll; and U-12, Reagan
Morman.
U-9 boys played four holes, U-9 boys played six holes, and 12-and-over played nine holes.
U-8 girls played four holes, U-10 played five holes and U-12 played six holes. Hanus shot a 17, Carroll a
25, and Morman a 26 to claim their respective division titles.
Brown won U-9 boys with a score of 22, winning a playoff with second-place finisher Preston Pinson. Hanus
shot a 17, Nobel shot a 28, Walker shot a 38, and Hiris shot a 43 to claim their respective division
titles.
Other top finishers for the boys were: U-7 – Pinson, second, 22; Ryan Rife, third-tie, 23; Brandon
Tucker, third-tie, 23; U-9 – Alex Bookengerger, second-tie, 20; Isaac Elsasser, second-tie, 20; Noah
Evans, fourth, 22; U-11 – Austyn Chesser, second, 29; Blaine Brown, third, 30; Joseph Brown, fourth, 31;
U-12 – Connor Senn, second, 44; Aaron Crawford, third, 47; Ryan Motsinger, fourth, 48; U-15 – Ryan
Chesser, second, 45; Connor Rogowski, third, 46; Parker Ernsthausen, fourth, 46.
Other top finishers for the girls were: U-8 – Payton Morman, second, 23; Emily Wishart, third, 24;
Samarah Maag, fourth, 30; U-10 – Andrea Cromley, second, 26; Luci Moor, third-tie, 29; Elizabeth,
Heffernan, third-tie, 29; U-12 – Emily Schrrick, second, 33; Sarah Kulmatycki, third, 35; Samantha
Austin, fourth, 42.
