AMENDED NOTICE OF CITY OF
NORTHWOOD PUBLIC HEARING

The Northwood City Council has referred three (3) zoning amendment applications to the Northwood Planning
Commission for their review and recommendations. The Northwood Planning Commission will hold the review
at their next regular public meeting scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the Northwood Municipal Building located at 6000 Wales Road, Northwood, Ohio.
Applicant, George V. Oravecz Consulting & Engineering Services, Maumee, Ohio has submitted the
applications on behalf of the property owners; State Line Investors, J. Alvarado Properties LLC
& Leonard Paul Blair, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church.
The first application is a request for rezoning of Curtice Road property designated as Parcel
#M50-812-350000024000 consisting of 44.05 acres of vacant land currently zoned R (Suburban residential)
to R-OA-1 (Older Area Residential) with a PUD overlay (Planned Unit Development).
The second application is a request for rezoning of Curtice Road property designated as Parcel
#M50-812-350000024500 consisting of 10.67 acres of vacant land currently zoned R (Suburban Residential)
to R-OA-1 (Older Area Residential) with a PUD overlay (Planned Unit Development).
The third application is a request for rezoning of Curtice Road property designated as Parcel
#M50-812-350000022000 consisting of 33.36 acres of vacant land currently zoned RA (Rural Residential)
& A-1 (Agricultural) to R (Suburban Residential).

Zoning office located at the Municipal Building, 6000 Wales Road, Northwood, Ohio or by calling
419-693-9329 during the office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
