The Village of Cygnet would like to thank the citizens of Wood County for passing the park district levy.
Over the last several years the village has worked with employees of the park district, including Chris
Smalley. Grants received allowed the village to implement his recommendations, including removing
outdated and unsafe equipment, replacing the equipment, and provided for the appropriate safety
surfacing underneath. The most recent grant allowed for the installation of a slide, merry-go-round,
see-saw and climbing equipment in Swan Park. If you have not yet seen the new and improved parks in
Cygnet, please stop by.
