2 injured in crash at Rts. 25/582
DUNBRIDGE – Two Bowling Green drivers were taken to the hospital, one of them by air ambulance, as a
result of a crash in Middleton Township.
The Ohio Highway Patrol reports that Michael D. Lusk, 37, West Poe Road, was transported Wednesday by air
ambulance to University of Toledo Medical Center after his 1991 Mercury struck another car while
traveling east on Ohio 582.
A westbound vehicle driven by Jaclyne Hertzfeld, 21, East Merry Street, attempted to make a left turn at
the intersection of Route 582 and Ohio 25 and collided at about 6:20 p.m. with the Lusk vehicle.
Hertzfeld was taken to Wood County Hospital by Northwest EMS.
The patrol is still investigating the accident.
Saturday hours change at landfill
Wood County residents are reminded that beginning Saturday the Wood County Landfill will change its
Saturday hours of operation to 8 a.m. to noon.
Monday through Friday hours will remain 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Webster trustees change meeting
PEMBERVILLE – Webster Township Trustees have changed their scheduled Aug. 10 meeting to Monday at 7:30
a.m. in the township building.
Liberty trustees change meeting
RUDOLPH – Liberty Township Trustees have canceled their meeting scheduled for Monday.
The next meeting will be Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the township hall.
