Angie Pickerel weds Arik Witker

PEMBERVILLE – Angela Lynn Pickerel and Arik John Witker were united in marriage June 27 at Bethlehem
Lutheran Church.
Rev. David Weitelmann conducted the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Denise Pickerel, Ohio 199, Pemberville. The groom is the son of
James and DeAnn Witker, Pemberville Road, Bradner.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white, strapless gown of English net over satin. The
bodice was trimmed with silver embroidery, silver sequins, and bugle beads. A band of bulge beads and
rhinestones accented the waistline. The beading pattern continued through the slim skirt and chapel
train. A matching beaded bolero long sleeve jacket was worn during the ceremony. Her headpiece, with a
two-tier veil edged in satin, matched the pattern on the gown.
Amanda Fisher, Gibsonburg, was the maid of honor. She wore a strapless, layered chiffon cocktail-length
dress in buttercup yellow.
Bridesmaids, wearing identical gowns, were Kristen Schulte, Manhattan, Kansas; Erin Limes Lampe, Bowling
Green; Stacie Wenig, Columbus; and McKayla Phillips, Pemberville, niece of the groom.
Allan Witker and Andrew Witker of Bradner, brothers of the groom, served as best men.
Groomsmen were Adam Loomis, Luckey; Brett Rahe and the bride’s brother, Matthew Pickerel, both of
Dale Sentle, Pemberville; Andrew Jensen, Luckey; Anthony Nededog, Bryan; and Rick Adams, McComb, were
Musicians for the ceremony were organist Rayna Dickey and vocalists Barb Sergent, Phil Farmer and Steven
A reception was held at Riverview Banquet Centre, Pemberville, with music furnished by DJ Christian King.

The couple took a seven-day honeymoon cruise to Grand Cayman, Routan, Belize and Cozumel.
The newlyweds are making their home at Lemoyne Road, Pemberville.
The bride graduated in 2005 from Eastwood High School and in 2008 from Ohio State University. She is
employed by First Federal Bank.
The groom, a 2003 Eastwood graduate, is employed by Widmer and Associates.
