Roy A. Parker Jr., age 61, of Jerry City, Ohio died Friday July 24, 2009 at the Wood County Hospital.
He was born on February 24, 1948 in Perrysburg, Ohio to Roy and Mildred (Councilman) Parker Sr. On
December 23, 1965 he married Jacklyn (Jaci) Coller in Toledo.
Some of his interests were NASCAR, with Mark Martin as his favorite driver, Dirt Track Racing,
woodworking and was an avid Detroit Lions fan.
He previously worked at the H.J. Heinze Co. in Bowling Green until their closure. He then worked at the
Clark-American Lincoln Plant in Bowling Green, retiring in 2005 after 30 years of service.
Roy is survived by his wife, Jaci Parker, his son Rob of Rudolph, Ohio. and daughter Angela Parker-Zulch
of Bowling Green, and three grandchildren Brandi M. Parker of Rudolph and Brittani M. Parker of West
Millgrove, Ohio and Shelby Angel Zulch of Bowling Green, his sister Shirley Horine of Bowling Green, and
his brother-in-law Robert Coller of Bowling Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and his best
friend, Presley, his cat.
Friends and family may visit Monday, July 27, 2009 at Peinert Funeral Home, Tontogany, OH from 4 to 8
p.m.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Tontogany, OH
with Pastor Mark Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green.
Memorial donations may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church, Tontogany, OH. or the Hope Lodge
of Cleveland, OH.
